Introduction to Preaching
The aim of this module is to familiarize students with a method of biblical interpretation and an understanding of the various literary forms of scripture - with a view to public preaching and teaching. To equip students with the necessary hermeneutical skills to understand and communicate the broad range of Bible literature. And to introduce students to the role and task of the teacher in a Christian congregation.
Students engage with the course material provided for 10 weeks and then engage in two weeks of independent study.

Assessment
This module is assessed through a series of sermon scripts and an exegesis paper.
